How to Disable Windows Recall from the Registry

  1. In windows registry, navigate to the following path. If WindowsAI key does not exist, please make it:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsAI
  2. Make a new 32bit DWORD called AllowRecallEnablement and leave it set to 0.
  3. Restart your computer.
